Small Planet Studios originated the Porthole picture frame concept over 30 years ago, but one early customer’s feedback is still our best line, “I had to pick it up before I knew it wasn’t a real bronze porthole”. Since then, we have never tired of hearing our customers’ comments about the realism and weathered finish of our frames.

Each porthole is cast in cold-cast-bronze, and finished in a rich, acid washed, natural patina. All portholes have a saw tooth hanger molded into the back of the casting for flush mounting on the wall. They are ready to hang out of the box.
